The B. App (“The B. App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an intelligent operating system that helps padel clubs across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) orchestrate scheduling, payments, coaching, memberships, and revenue intelligence. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit thebapp.io, interact with our sales and support teams, or use The B. App platform, and how we handle that information.

1. Who we are

The B. App is operated by the team behind The B. App padel operations platform. We serve club operators, coaches, front-desk teams, and players in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the wider GCC. If you are a player or coach at a venue that uses The B. App, that venue is the controller of your account data and we process it on their behalf as a service provider.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Contact and business details you submit through the discovery form, email (thebapplication@gmail.com), or other channels: name, work email, role, venue or company name, and the message you send us.
  • Account data when a venue onboards onto the platform: staff profiles, roles and permissions, club configuration, court inventory, pricing rules, and coaching curricula.
  • Member and player data processed on behalf of clubs: name, email, phone, booking history, membership status, payment status, and coaching performance notes provided by the club.
  • Payment information needed to process deposits, memberships, and retail revenue. Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to remember your theme preference, keep you signed in, and measure aggregate site performance. See Cookies and analytics.

2.3 Information from third parties

We may receive information from payment gateways, identity providers, WhatsApp Business, calendar integrations, and analytics tools that you or your venue connects to The B. App.

3. How we use information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the platform — including scheduling, payments, coaching, and intelligence features.
  • Respond to discovery requests, blueprint requests, and support enquiries.
  • Send transactional communications (booking confirmations, payment receipts, member journey messages) and, with consent, occasional product updates.
  • Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics for venue dashboards and benchmark KPIs.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations in the jurisdictions where we operate.

4. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable law (such as the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, KSA PDPL, or the EU/UK GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract with you or your venue; (b) our legitimate interests in running and improving the service; (c) your consent, where required (for example, marketing emails); and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

  • Venues you interact with — bookings, payments, and coaching activity are shared with the club operating the venue.
  • Service providers who help us run the platform: cloud hosting (Google Cloud / Firebase), payment processors, email and messaging providers, analytics, and customer support tools. They access data only to perform services for us and are bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Professional advisors and authorities when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of The B. App, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users where required.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of first-party cookies and local-storage items to remember your light/dark theme preference and to keep navigation working smoothly. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand which pages are most useful so we can improve them. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function as expected if you do.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Venue and member data is retained for the duration of the club’s contract with us and for a reasonable period afterwards to honor legal, tax, and audit requirements. Contact form messages are retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

8. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, audit logging, and routine security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

9. International data transfers

The B. App primarily serves clubs in the GCC, but the cloud infrastructure and service providers we rely on may process information in other regions. Where transfers occur, we use providers that offer appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses, regional data residency, or equivalent measures) consistent with applicable data protection law.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at thebapplication@gmail.com. If you are a player or coach at a venue, we may direct your request to the venue, which is the primary controller of your account data.

11. Children’s privacy

The B. App platform is intended for club operators and adult players. Where venues offer junior coaching programs, parents or legal guardians are responsible for registering minors and consenting to the processing of their information by the venue. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verified parental consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice (such as via email or an in-product banner).
